Overview

ALBAT–SAUDIA is a collaborative venture between Maysan Leading Contracting Company Ltd. (MEPCO), Saudi Arabia, and ALBAT d.o.o. Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Recognizing the vast opportunities within the Saudi market and the government’s strong industrial support, both entities established a local manufacturing facility in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) to serve regional energy and power infrastructure demands.

Core Focus

The partnership focuses on the production of DC and AC backup systems, UPS systems, battery chargers, LV switchgear, and distribution panels.

By combining MEPCO’s regional experience in large-scale electromechanical projects with ALBAT’s decades-long expertise in power electronics, ALBAT–SAUDIA provides reliable, high-performance energy solutions for industrial and infrastructure applications.

Research & Development

ALBAT–SAUDIA’s R&D division is currently developing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) based on lithium battery technology, supporting Saudi Arabia’s shift toward renewable and sustainable energy solutions.
